Cookie policy

Last updated:

This policy explains how Visit NOA (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on visitnoa.com. It should be read together with our terms and conditions.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in a comparable way. They can be needed for a site to work, remember your preferences, or measure and track how you use a site.

Cookies we set

Visit NOA does not currently set any cookies. The site is published as static pages: we do not use analytics, advertising or social media trackers, our fonts are served from our own domain, and we do not embed third-party maps or videos. Because of that, we do not show a cookie banner.

If we add a service that uses cookies — for example privacy-friendly analytics — we will update this page beforehand and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.

Some links to tours and activities take you to our booking partners (for example Viator). Visit NOA does not place any cookie when you click these links. Once you arrive on the partner’s website, that partner may set its own cookies, including an affiliate cookie that records that you came from Visit NOA so that we can receive a commission if you book. These cookies are governed by the partner’s own cookie and privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.

Hosting

Like any website, our hosting provider may record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in server logs, to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. These logs do not rely on cookies.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block only third-party cookies, which limits tracking by other sites while keeping the sites you visit working. Help pages for the most common browsers:
