About this experience
From Purmamarca, Route 52 climbs the switchbacks of the Cuesta de Lipán before levelling out on the Puna plateau.
On the salt flat, a local guide leads a short walk to the salt-extraction pools. Bring sunglasses, sunscreen and warm layers.
